Healthy Chocolate (seriously) that tastes like unhealthy chocolate

Okay, I know this is different and random, but I am different and random, and I HAD to share this with as many people as I possibly could. This chocolate recipe I just made is TOO good to keep a secret. It is totally healthy and OH-SO-GOOD. You won’t miss traditional chocolate ever again, and the good news is, it is SO easy to make and takes no time at all.

 

So to start, here is the original post that I got this recipe from. I changed mine a bit though so I am going to share with you what I did.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Cacao powder (I get mine at costco or on amazon here.)

1/2 cup coconut oil

3-4 tablespoons of honey (depending on how sweet you want it. You may want to taste the mixture when it is heating to see if you want to add more honey.)

1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon

1 tsp of nutmeg

Directions:

Heat everything in a sauce pan until it starts to bubble. Add to any silicone molds you like, I used the same ones from the original blog post and I got mine here. The recipe fills both trays just about perfectly. I then put mine into the freezer for about 30 minutes. Once they are solid, you pop them out and enjoy them right away! These need to stay cold as they do melt quite easily.

My kids are obsessed and have no idea that these chocolates are anything different from the old chocolate treats they used to beg for!! SO, KID-APPROVED (Can I get an AMEN?!)

So now, all I can think about are all the fun ways to make these. You could add mint, orange liquor, amaretto, vanilla, and the list goes on!
